Kathleen Chury RN / CWC
Kathleen Chury, an RN trained at the Foothills School of Nursing in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, has over 40 years of nursing experience. Her multi-layered nursing background includes clinical and hospital work in obstetrics and gynaecology (including Childbirth Educator x 10 years), wellness education (diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.), oncology, rehabilitation, geriatric care, urology, cardiology, as well as two years volunteering at the Health Clinic for the Calgary Urban Project Society (CUPS) in Calgary.
Kathleen also has over 14 years of wellness coaching and, for the last five years via parent coaching, she has been supporting families going through crisis and change.
Her belief has always been that people can improve their health and well being through increased self awareness and self empowerment. Kathleen added to her nursing credentials through training in Emotional Fitness Coaching (Calgary, Alberta), Circle of Life Wellness Coaching (Santa Barbara, California), and Addiction Studies Extension Certificate (Mount Royal University, Calgary, Alberta).
Beloved by her former patients for her positivity, Kathleen’s sincere listening abilities enable her to help others hear themselves in order to develop their own customized plan of action. Helping to focus on the “whole health picture”, Kathleen finds joy in coaching others towards a committed improvement of their health and well being.
